ABOUT ME
I never pick up my camera first. I start with a conversation, a coffee, a few minutes to get to know the person sitting across from me. My name is Andrei, and that's what photography is to me.
I've always believed people want two things from a photo session: to see themselves reflected, and to discover something about themselves they never noticed before. The moment someone in front of my lens lets their guard down and allows themselves to just be that's when the real work begins.
Photography has something very few things can offer: it freezes time. A glance, a gesture, a fleeting expression all preserved from a moment that would have otherwise slipped away. So when I shoot, I'm not chasing perfect light or flawless composition. I'm chasing mood, presence and that intangible quality that makes an image stick with you long after you've seen it.
I work across editorial portrait, personal branding and fashion always paying close attention to light, direction, styling and detail. But the technical side is just my starting point. What matters most to me is that every person I photograph feels like they're not alone in front of the camera that from the very first direction to the last frame, there's a space where they can breathe, relax and just be themselves.
